We’ve all been there. We’re out and about and that urge suddenly become urgent. You have to pee. So, you rearrange your errands and calibrate a new route that includes a coffee shop or mall so you can pop into the restroom. But, in India, it’s a slightly different story. More people in India have access to a mobile phone than a toilet, according to a WHO report from earlier this year. 636 million people in India don’t have a toilet at home. And it’s especially hard for women. So much so that a coalition of 32 Not for profits has come together to agitate for the Right to Pee.
