Mumbai’s Flamingos & the transharbour link

Mumbai is one of only a few major conurbations in the world to boast urban flamingos. But a new bridge will cut through their habitat and most likely drive them away. For World Migratory Bird day on May 10, my web story (longer, more comprehensive reportage) appeared on the DW.de environment page. You can read it here: Bridge Threatens Mumbai’s Flamingos.
But I also did a radio story that came out quite nicely, I recorded a lot of it at a flamingo watching event organized by the BNHS. You can listen to it right here on visit the page (and also listen to the whole show, themed on migratory birds).
